Murk’s work is inspired by the jewellery of the ancient world and the natural forms he sees around him.
Incorporating rough and cut rare gemstones for unique pieces.
A large part of his collection is based on his study of impressions of natural phenomena, all carefully fragmented, molded and transformed into precious metal. Murk wants his jewellery to have a natural aesthetic flow that speaks to the senses and tells a story closely connected with the body and nature.
Mixing textures and materials for a delicate balance of roughness and elegance has always been important.
The contrast between linear and organic shapes is one of the core elements in the characteristic, expressive style of Murk’s jewellery.
